Vueron Technology(“Vueron”) is named CES® 2024 Innovation Awards Honoree for LiDAR smart infra solutions in the Smart City segment. Smart Crowd Analytics(“SCA”), which won the Innovation Award, will be on display at the Mobility Zone in the West Hall in CES® 2024.

Vueron has partnerships with more than 20 domestic and international clients in the field of autonomous driving and smart infrastructure, and is rapidly growing its global business by establishing offices in USA and Germany.

Winner of the CES® 2024 Innovation Award, SCA is a solution that can detect six or more people within a 1m2 area using LiDAR perception technology, and was developed to prevent disaster after last year’s Seoul Crowd Crush in South Korea. Unlike current systems such as cameras, LiDAR sensors which are 3D-based sensors have become popular because they can provide high accuracy and protect privacy.

In fact, SCA has the highest object detection accuracy of any current solution and has been successfully deployed in Jongno-gu, Seoul, followed by Seodaemun-gu and Gangdong-gu. It is currently in discussions with other local governments and is expected to expand in airports, shopping malls, etc.
